AgXcel has received many requests over the years to offer a centrifugal pump. After a lot of searching and testing, we have settled on the ACE Pumps Oasis Wet Seal Centrifugal Pump.

This pump is ideal for nitrogen applications of any flow range for planters, strip tills, cultivators, NH3 bars, Y drop bars, & more.

The GX5 Centrifugal Pump is designed with the Oasis Wet Seal technology, which means that all the seals inside of the pump are incased in the oil cavity of the pump, meaning that the pump can be ran dry and no seal will burn up. No more having to keep spare seals, or even a spare pump on hand because someone forgot to open a ball valve to a tank before turning the pump on, or needing to spend half of the day replacing the pump due to an air leak or plugged filter on the inlet side of the pump causing the pump to run dry and burn a seal.

The ACE Pump is painted in a black E-coating, which has been used for several years for fertilizer applications and has held its own.

Each GX5 Centrifugal Pump includes a PWM driver and motor, designed for closed center hydraulic systems. AgXcel chose the PWM driver due to our expertise in PWM driven pump systems, and the quality and accuracy that a PWM provides is unbeatable. They deliver the highest grade of reliability, rapid rate response, and require minimal maintenance. If you are in a situation where you are limited on your hydraulic flow output, as more and more guys are every year, this pump only uses as much hydraulic flow as is needed to apply your target rate. Plus the PWM only uses up to 6.5 GPM of hydraulic flow at max flow rate. The PWM also has a built in manual override control that you simply turn to check for proper hydraulic connection is a great feature for ensuring proper hydraulic flow.

The GX5 Centrifugal Pump is capable up to 140 GPM based off of the flow rate chart seen here. So the pump is more than capable of meeting every ones needs for any nitrogen application. 

Each GX5 Centrifugal Pump is pre plumbed at AgXcel with a Magnetic Flowmeter and a Recirculation Valve. The Magnetic series of Flowmeters are preferred by AgXcel, due to their low maintenance, accuracy, and durability. No moving parts means less failure points.

As with all AgXcel solutions, the GX5 integrates seamlessly into all major OEM controllers or can be managed with the AgXcel AutoX compact controller or GX8 ISOBUS controller.
